Canadian composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Dubmatix is one of the most celebrated reggae and dub artists in the world, with a career spanning over two decades, nine JUNO Award wins and nominations, and a global audience built entirely on the strength of his music.

Toronto-born Dubmatix first burst onto the music scene with his debut release Champion Sound Clash in 2004 and has since established himself as one of the top reggae producers on the planet, with six chart-topping releases in a row and best album honours from Germany, France, Portugal, and Italy.

His remixes and productions have topped global charts, including Billboard's number-one Bob Marley remix of all time, Is This Love, which has surpassed 40 million streams. He has also composed original scores for two feature films — RasTa: A Soul's Journey (2011), the documentary produced by Rita and Bob Marley's granddaughter Donisha Prendergast, and Home Again (2012), a drama featuring an original Dubmatix score.

Dubmatix has developed a unique and immediately recognisable signature sound — a Phil Spector-esque full sound built on heavy bass, majestic horn lines, and thick-set percussive grooves. His 2018 collaboration with legendary Jamaican rhythm section Sly & Robbie — Overdubbed, released on Echo Beach — won the JUNO Award for Best Reggae Recording in 2019, was named the number-two Best Dub/Remix Album of 2018 by Reggae.fr, and reached number one on the Global Reggae Charts. The same year, Dubmatix completed a remix for Grammy Award winners Morgan Heritage, receiving rave reviews internationally.
